The Bahemuka Drama Project, meaning “to be ashamed” in the Rutooro language, was created by PLANE to raise awareness on critical health issues, women’s and children’s rights in challenging-to-reach communities in the Rwenzori region. Through radio dramas and community outreach, the project aims to educate, engage, and entertain the public by using local dialects and tailored messages.
